Later in June, MIFS president Ross Bigley held MIFS's first filmmaking workshop, "Film Making: The Art of Telling in Story, Image and Sound". This workshop was based on his class of the same name that he teaches at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Attendees learn the craft of storytelling, the process of producing a film by learning breakdowns and budgeting, and share a first hand experience with a Director of Photography in studying camera placement. Workshop participants also learn editing by cutting together clips they have shot.
