From Kyle Richards:

THE AMATEUR MONSTER MOVIE is a no-budget, amateur comedy monster flick shot in and around Milwaukee in 2009 and 2010. New Year's Day 2011 is the world premiere in Milwaukee at the Oriental Theatre, frequently cited as one of the nation's best and beautiful theatres, located on Farwell, just off North Avenue on the East Side. Oh, and yes, don't worry, they have a bar.

Admission is $1.00 at the door. Yes, that's correct; we are rolling out the red carpet and you can be there for only one lousy fucking dollar. You and 8 friends could be at the world premiere for less than what it would cost for just one of you to go see some bullshit at Marcus or grimy old AMC or something. So take a bath*, get dressed up*, fix your hair*, find a dollar on the street if you don't already have one, and prepare yourself for what is sure to be the best movie experience you will have had in all of 2011, so far**!

After a group of boy scouts are mysteriously killed by a wolf-like creature on Cadaverous Island, Walter Romero (Chris Ouchie), whose best friend was among the killed, sets out to find exactly what happened. In order to reach the island, Walter teams up with Johnny Mason (Kyle Richards), neighborhood stoner, to smoke up Ashley Valinski (Samantha Goetz), neighborhood hottie, and get her to take them out on her father's boat. But soon after arriving on Cadaverous Island, a horde of zombies steals their boat, leaving them stranded, and the three are forced to team up with two cops, the mayor, and a team of botanists to either kill the monsters... or be killed themselves..... DUN-DUN-DUN!!!

(Featuring Steve Golla, Stephen Kimble, Charles Ramsey, and Bruce Spielbauer as "The Guru"; with special appearances by the legendary Russ Montney, Mark Borchardt of "American Movie", comedian Dobie Maxwell, and the amazing Rex Sikes! THE AMATEUR MONSTER MOVIE was written, directed, and produced by local filmmaker Kyle Richards)
