Karen Lindholm-Rynkiewicz talks about her film Gold Digger

1.) Where did the idea for the film come from?
My mother died and my father met up with his high school sweet heart whose husband had also just died. They fell in love again, but this time they both had children whose feelings were hurt. So we all live and love.

2.)How much did the project change from concept to final edit?
Over all not much. The film tells the story.

3.)Where there any challenges during production?
We filmed on a moving train. It was great, Challenging, but great.

4.) With the film completed, what has been the most rewarding thing about the whole experience?
I sent a copy of the film to my father and his new bride. They are so proud of it that they are showing it to their friends and have been asking for more copies.

Gold Digger premieres this Friday at 7pm at the Lubar Auditorium, in the Milwaukee Art Museum. The film is a part of our Opening Night event.
