AWAITING HER, takes us through a day in the life of a shoe shine boy, an international economist and a sex worker. It is about women. The ones out there, or lack of. The ones inside us, or lack of. In this world of men, we are still awaiting her...

1.) Where did the idea for the film come from?
Sitting on a park bench talking with my brother. Then through the inspiration of two writers: Manuel Amaya Amador and Jeffrey Sachs and a mix and mash of my own dark side.

2.)How much did the project change from concept to final edit?

Very little. The changes were all for the better though!
3.)Where there any challenges during production?
Learning about production and direction by doing it!

4.) With the film completed, what has been the most rewarding thing about the whole experience?
Bringing in a team of people from around the world to work for a common goal, all with so much love and dedication.

Awaiting Her screens this Saturday, October 30th at 5pm. Lubar Auditorium, Milwaukee Art Museum. Tickets are $10.00
